Beatrice and Polly are jumping for art with their Modern Art History teacher, Jayme, on Barrie School's campus in Silver Spring, Maryland. This kinetic sculpture was recently created as a collaborative project between local artist Kevin Reese and Barrie students. Family Art Day in Fish Creek, WI Jumping!

Something a little different than the usual post, but still completely great-- thank you to Martha, the  Youth & Community Programs Coordinator at the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek, Wisconsin for sending!  

Martha said "... I designed our last Family Art Day around the idea of "Jumping in Art Museums." Since October is the national month for arts and humanities, we made a painting/mixed media project where we were jumping for joy because we love art so much! I wanted to share with you the project and its outcomes with you and I hope that you could post some of these "jumping paintings" on your blog."
